Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving could not have come soon enough. Buddy and Moe were up early hoping their neighborhood friends (Oscar and Champ) would already be outside playing.
Once we finally got up it was off to the lake for a walk. During the summer, the spot where Matt and the pups are sitting is normally underwater.
We came home and Matt went out and worked in the yard.
Buddy helped...
...until something far more exciting came on TV.
Once the Elders arrived it was time to indulge in a feast that even the Grinch would have enjoyed! Venison tenderloin fondue, garlicky mashed potatoes, homemade rolls, cranberry-ginger ale punch...yum! Merrit is a truly gifted chef!
Though it was our first Thanksgiving away from family we certainly made the most of it...especially when it came to dessert!

I'm looking forward to being with you for Christmas. To do so, I'll even put up with the granddoggies. Will you please show off your cooking for us?
